An Overview

Pakistani society is a blend of multiple cultures seeking immense influence from religion, cultural-norms and historical events. The country has a majority population of Muslims but, it is also home for Hindus and Christians which considerably form the minority of Pakistan.

Pakistani society is mostly rural facing the challenge of rapid urbanisation. People in countryside are trying to move to the cities in pursuit of facilities and employment. Not only they are moving but also leaving behind a gap in the rural traditional setup. Even those living in rural areas are under the heavy influence of urban norms thus, accepting impurities in their native cultures.
